Twardos Named President/CEO of AAA MountainWest
AAA MountainWest announced Jim Twardos as the new President/CEO of AAA MountainWest, as Wes Choc announces his retirement.
In his new position, Twardos will become responsible for overall operational matters as well as AAA MountainWest’s strategic business initiatives.
Twardos hails from Chicago and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Economics. He began his career with AAA in 1988 with the Chicago Motor Club as the manager overseeing the Emergency Road Service Contractor Network. Twardos was promoted through the company till eventually, in 1999, he became Division Manager where he continued to run Automotive Services, the contact center and the Club’s Membership department.
In 2001, Twardos moved to AAA Arizona to improve their Emergency Road Service Operation as Director of Automotive Services. As time went by, he added responsibilities for developing and managing a club owned fleet and Auto Travel, Travel, and Membership call receiving and processing.
Twardos joined AAA MountainWest in May 2007 taking on the responsibility of daily operational matters as President.
Twardos and his wife, Mary have two children, Tara, 16, and Ryan, 10.
