The Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum was established in 1960 through the will of Helen Brinton and opened to the public in June of 1961 as a memorial to her brother Bradford Brinton.
Today the Main Ranch House is filled with fine art and furnishings from the time of the Brintons’ tenure, and twelve of the twenty rooms are part of the guided tour. Original art by John James Audubon, George Bellows, Edward Borein, A.B. Frost, E.W. “Bill” Gollings, Frank Tenney Johnson, Hans Kleiber, Frederic Remington and Charles Marion Russell makes up the essence of the Memorial’s collection. On display are also many rare books and important historic documents, such as an original letter by Abraham Lincoln and a document written by George Washington.
